Verbs Can / Have

     Can: Se utiliza para expresar habilidad, oportunidad o falta de estas, para pedir y ofrecer permiso o ayuda, para indicar posibilidad o imposibilidad.

Ejemplos:

• I can fix a a car (Habilidad)

• I can't write with my left hand. (Falta de habilidad).

• She can get a scholarship in a good college. (Oportunidad). 

• Can I have friday free? (Solicitud de permiso). 

     Have: Se utiliza para indicar posesión y en algunas ocasiones sustituye a los verbos "get" y "take".

Ejemplos:

• I have a red car.
• You have a nice apartment.
• We have so much in common.
• They have a 2 years old baby.
• She often has a massage to relax.
• He always has breakfast at 6:00 am

     Had: Es la forma pasada del verbo "have" y se utiliza con el mismo fin, sin embargo debe ser utilizado para hablar solo de periodos de tiempo ya terminados. Se utiliza con todos los sujetos o pronombres, es decir, no cambia cuando se trata de "he, she, it" o algún otro pronombre o sujeto.

Ejemplos:

• I had my first baby at age 27.
• She had a great vacation in France.
• We had good plans for today, but it rained.
