Ejemplos:

- Can I have friday free? (Solicitud de permiso).
Have: Se utiliza para indicar posesión y en algunas ocasiones sustituye a los verbos "get" y "take".

Had: Es la forma pasada del verbo "have" y se utiliza con el mismo fin, sin embargo debe ser utilizado para hablar solo de periodos de tiempo ya terminados. Se utiliza con todos los sujetos o pronombres, es decir, no cambia cuando se trata de "he, she, it" o algún otro pronombre o sujeto.
