*Las oraciones interrogativas en primera persona en singular generalmente se utilizan de forma reflexiva, es decir, preguntarse algo a uno mismo suele tener la finalidad de ayudar a reflexionar o llegar a conclusiones. Ejemplo: "Do I need a new car?". Adicionalmente, las oraciones en la primera persona del plural (we) se suelen utilizar para pedir confirmación u opinión/preferencia sobre algo que compete a dos o más personas. Ejemplo: "Do we have milk?" (confirmación), "Do we paint the house blue or green?" (opinión o preferencia).
